The Waitaki District Council has uploaded short videos from all candidates standing in this year’s local body elections. These videos give you a chance to hear directly from each of us about who we are, what we stand for, and what we see as the challenges and opportunities for our community.
In my video, I share why I’m standing for the Ōamaru Ward, my top priorities for Council, and my vision for building a resilient, connected Waitaki.
I also want to acknowledge John from the Council communications team, who filmed and edited all the candidate videos. Using his own gear, with no budget and no post-production support, he’s put in a huge effort to make sure our community can hear directly from its candidates. That kind of commitment and service to our district deserves recognition.
